In 2015 and beyond the CHA has made a commitment to worldwide outreach, bringing the world's foremost cannabis experts together to network and share resources. One of the ways the CHA makes working with us attractive is through our commitment to educating the community and our socially responsible initiatives.
The CHA is currently looking for volunteers for the following projects:
1. GrowUp.NYC - New York City based cannabis education courses committed to the coaching and development of prospective caregivers, patients, and industry professionals.
2. Independent Cannabis Research Initiative (ICRI) - An ongoing campaign to provide the cannabis industry with cutting edge independent research. This is a tremendous opportunity for college students and prospective cannabis industry Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to further establish credential/credibility in this booming business.
3. CannaBranding Initiative (CBI) - The CHA's CannaBranding Intiative (CBI) is a series of programs developed to support local charities nationwide with volunteers from the cannabis community for a variety of charitable initiatives. Currently the CHA only has a chapter in New York City, but is always seeking expansion. Our initiative was raised in an effort to prove that cannabis advocates are community service oriented people. The CBI was also created to inspire a culture around the word "Cannabis" which encompasses all of the benefits of the plant, far beyond the mere intoxicating properties of marijuana.
